My name is Hugh Walker and I have been working as a freelance computer animator since 1995, creating broadcast quality animated graphics for business presentations, video, television, and the multimedia industry.
Located in Lancashire, England I offer a service to companies world wide, who require high quality 3D computer animations at reasonable prices.
Before moving into animation I worked as an architectural technician using AutoCAD and other software. Due to this experience my animations tend to be technically accurate as well as visually appealing.
I have worked mainly on industrial type animations, construction, safety, engineering and design visualization, these are often used at trade shows or to support a sales presentation.
The software that I use for animation is 3D Studio MAX along with Combustion for compositing animation and video and creating special effects. In addition to the standard 3DS Max render engines I also use the V-Ray rendering system. As this is a high quality raydiosity renderer that bounces the light off the different objects in the scene to give a more real world look to the animation.
